My attitude towards drama within The Halfling Project and therefore InvisAble me is as a means to an end.
Drama can build up confidence, it can address issues, it can be enormous fun - all of which benefit those taking part.
It is built into the whole core concept of invAsible Me that anyone within the age range can take part, subject to being enthusiastic.
Some may be great at acting others might be just fun to have around and play thier part in another way - but all are part of it.
The mix of those with no experience to those who act professionally should complement the work.
Rather than learning lots and lots of words [scripts] the technique of improvisation is key. With improvisation, you have a set scenario or drama outline and from there you literally make it up as you go along.
You are not alone ofcourse we work at it together until you find it the most natural thing to do.
You may well be surprised how quickly you can advance when you're enjoying the process.
Enjoyment too my mind is vital here.
Even with the serious subject matter at times - the actual work should be fulfilling and enjoyable.
And there will be serious subjects covered - but by that time you would have the experience to cope, and treat it as a challenge.
The first meeting to see if you like working here will be very informal and we work at your pace using both conventional photography and video .
After that meeting, you get the results, and hopefully, you like what you see.
You may then be invited back either for another day or to join the regular team.
if you have already worked with William David then we set up an agreement for proposed work.
Actors who come in for specific roles or days will be by individual contract/agreement.
The work for invisAble me is dramatic acting in either theatre or realistic style.
There are no plans to have any singing or dancing unless you wish to introduce it!
The work is split into two mains sectors - 1/ practice work and development 2/ storyboard and feature work for invisAble Me.
Those starting out will get plenty of work examples and pictures for their self-promotion and profile.
Final work for InvisAble Me will not be issued until that work is made public by the project.
